Maribel Alaniz Mendez, AMFT, APCC
Welcome!
Hello and welcome! My name is Maribel and I help individuals and couples who are currently finding themselves struggling through the challenges and transitions that life brings. Some of those issues may include family conflict, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, communication issues and mood disturbances. I help clients gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors to help them improve how they feel. My approach is to provide a safe and open space to talk and explore thoughts and conversations to help create change in their life. I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy to help survivors of trauma and abuse heal.
I work collaboratively to support you, as I believe you are the expert of your own life. I offer a free 15-minute consultation, to answer any questions you may have. I believe that finding the right therapist is very important for your personal goals. Together we can find the ways to create the change that you desire as well as to strengthen your relationships.
