My name is Becca and I am an Associate Therapist with Inner Expansions. I am committed to facilitating growth and healing within individuals, couples, and families. I love working with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. With boundless enthusiasm, I create a nurturing environment where clients can explore and transform. My approach is deeply empathetic and client-centered, ensuring a safe space for authentic self-expression.
Utilizing a blend of evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT, I tailor therapy to address the unique needs of each individual. I'm particularly impassioned about supporting clients grappling with relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. I believe in empowering clients to harness their strengths and cultivate resilience in the face of adversity.
Furthermore, my dedication extends to providing affirming care to the LGBTQ+ community. I am deeply committed to fostering inclusivity and understanding, recognizing the unique challenges and strengths within this community. By staying attuned to the latest research and advancements, I ensure that my practice is culturally competent and affirming.
Education and Training
Becca earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in May of 2018 and a Master's of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in September of 2023. She has additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She has done work with Hospice providing grief counseling. Becca is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #144345 and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #15580.
Insurance and Fees
Becca's fee per session is $145. She is able to bill Anthem Blue Cross of CA, Aetna and CenCal directly for services under Inner Expansions Therapy Services. For all other insurance companies Inner Expansions can provide a Statement For Insurance Reimbursement (commonly called a "super bill") for you to request reimbursement from your health insurance plan.
