Shannon Cantillano, LCSW
Hi! I am the Owner and Clinical Director of Inner Expansions. Specializing in psychotherapy for individuals, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. I maintain offices in San Luis Obispo, CA, and Atascadero, CA, offering both in-person and virtual appointments.
I work with a broad spectrum of clients though I consider my specialty to be working with new moms, young adults and adult women. Among my areas of expertise are survivors of trauma and abuse, self-esteem and identity, depression, anxiety, adult ADHD and interpersonal relationship skills.
I am primarily an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist. EMDR is a wonderful tool for healing emotional pain quickly. My therapeutic approach also includes providing support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges from a client-centered perspective. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
