My name is Kaitlin and I am an Associate Therapist with Inner Expansions. I’m deeply committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by human behavior and relationships, which led me to pursue a career in mental health therapy.
Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and relationship struggles. Each person’s story is unique, and I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and I draw from many different evidence-based modalities such as Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in order to tailor interventions that meet the specific needs and goals of my clients. I believe in empowering individuals to tap into their inherent strengths and resilience as they work towards healing and growth.
As your therapist, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey towards greater well-being and fulfillment. Together, we can navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and cultivate resilience. It would be an honor to support you in creating positive changes that lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
Education and Training
Kaitlin is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She sees clients virtually throughout the state of California. She is clinically supervised by Shannon Cantillano, LCSW.
Kaitlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton in May of 2019 and a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Children and Adolescents from Azusa Pacific University in June of 2021. She has experience working with eating disorders and is trained in Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). Kaitlin is registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #10363.
Insurance and Fees
Kaitlin's fee per session is $145. She is able to bill Anthem Blue Cross of CA, Aetna, and CenCal directly under Inner Expansions Therapy Services. For all other insurance companies, Inner Expansions can provide a Statement For Insurance Reimbursement (commonly called a "super bill") for you to request reimbursement from your health insurance plan.
