Camille Smith, ASW
Welcome!
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn about my approach and background! My name is Cami, and I am an Associate Therapist with Inner Expansions. It is an honor to support people on their unique therapeutic journeys. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you can explore your relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you.
Using a systemic, client-centered approach, I recognize that many factors shape our everyday experiences. I draw from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and a strengths-based framework. My hope is to walk alongside you as you navigate life's challenges, reflect on your experiences, and create meaningful change by building on the resilience and inner strengths you already possess.
As a therapist, I bring empathy, curiosity, and openness to every session. I strive to understand your past and present experiences while helping you move toward your goals for the future. I am passionate about working with individuals from all cultural backgrounds and am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
I also have a passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals and believe that a truly supportive therapeutic space honors the many ways people think, feel, communicate, and move through the world. My hope is that our work together helps you experience greater safety, self-understanding, growth, and peace.

Cami is completing her EMDR training through an EMDRIA-approved training program and incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her work when clinically appropriate.
She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families involved in the foster care and adoption systems as a youth counselor. She has also worked with older adults, supporting their social, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
Cami is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #135483). She practices under the clinical supervision of Shannon Cantillano, LCSW #28917.
Insurance and Fees
Cami's fee is $150 per therapy session.
Through Inner Expansions Therapy Services, Cami is able to bill CenCal, Aetna, and Blue Shield directly for covered services.
If you have a different insurance provider, Inner Expansions can provide a Statement for Insurance Reimbursement (commonly known as a "superbill"), which you may submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement for out-of-network benefits. Because coverage varies by plan, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network mental health benefits before beginning therapy.
