Welcome!

Hi, I'm Camilyn Larsen, though most people know me as Cami. As an Associate Therapist at Inner Expansions, I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling seen, understood, and accepted. My approach is grounded in humanistic and existential principles, creating a collaborative, supportive space where we can explore the experiences, relationships, and values that have shaped your life. I believe our behaviors make sense when we understand the story behind them, and that lasting healing begins with curiosity rather than judgment.

I have a special interest in working with high-achieving adults and men's mental health, supporting clients who are navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity development, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in healthcare leadership, giving me firsthand insight into the unique pressures many professionals face while balancing career success, personal well-being, and meaningful relationships.

I also enjoy working with adolescents and couples, helping clients strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication, build resilience, and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Education and Training

Cami earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Health Sciences from California State University, Sacrament. Shortly after graduating with her undergraduate degree, she returned to school and earned a Master of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2023. She is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 144770) under the clinical supervision of Shannon Cantillano, LCSW 28917. 

Insurance and Fees

Cami's fee per session is $150. She is able to bill CenCal, Aetna and Blue Shield directly for services under Inner Expansions Therapy Services. For all other insurance companies Inner Expansions can provide a Statement For Insurance Reimbursement (commonly called a "superbill") for you to request reimbursement from your health insurance plan.
